In addition to being the founder/owner/person-in-charge at E.M. Wolfman General Interest Small Bookstore and Wolfman New Life Quarterly Bookstore I’m also a graphic designer, writer, lecturer, sort-of-curator, painter and amateur handy-person. I’ve worked on all kinds of projects—from nonprofit fundraising campaigns to running a house venue. I know a lot about 18th century nautical history. I know how to split logs. I used to play drums in a punk band. I used to teach writing classes to high school students. I've done emergency fine-arts-related plumbing (I can explain) and once, over a strange week, I accidentally co-founded a museum in a logging town on the Northern California coast.
THINGS I LIKE TO DO
All sorts of things! I love book and print design, as well as editing, copywriting and illustration—all aspects of bookmaking and publishing. But really, what I like to do is make things actually happen. I am always excited about multi-dimensional design projects and working with all things retail and experiential. I love to expand ideas and realize the big potentials in things. Also, I really like to actually pull things off and to help other people actually pull things off.
